Uncover the captivating artistry of stained glass by joining my immersive Intro to Copper Foil (Level 1) class. Tailored for beginners, this workshop will guide you through the intricate techniques of the Tiffany style, enabling you to create stunning stained glass pieces that showcase your newfound artistic talents.

What is the copper foil technique?

The copper foil technique, also known as the Tiffany method, has a rich history in the world of stained glass. It was popularized by renowned American artist Louis Comfort Tiffany in the late 19th century. Tiffany sought a method that would allow for more intricate and delicate designs in stained glass, leading him to develop the copper foil technique.

The process involves wrapping individual pieces of glass with thin strips of adhesive-backed copper foil, creating a smooth and seamless surface. This technique allows for greater precision in assembling and soldering the glass pieces, resulting in stunning stained glass artworks with intricate details and a refined finish.
